When I last talked with my best friend. We talked about silly things, what ifs, things that changed and things that never did. She migrated to the US in 2005. Listening to her, it hit me-she changed, I changed, distance changed, but the “us” didn’t.

Yesterday! I went to Barnes & Noble and spent a ton of money. I was originally there to buy review books. But then a book I’ve wanted to read for a long time caught my eye so I grabbed that. Then another book caught my eye and another and another….

A group in my media arts fraternity at college entered a 48 hour film festival. Being up for 48 hours creating a 7 minute short was the happiest I have been all semester- because it reinforced that this is what I want to do with my life.

The last time I truly felt happy was when I got to talk to my guy friend. I barely get to talk to him nowadays and I was really happy to catch him in the hallway and had a small chat. :)

Reading is second only to listening to music in my life, but a time that stands out is driving 9 hours with my best friend to see our favorite band - while blasting David Sedaris audiobooks on the stereo. Kind of ironic.

I’d have to say when I met Seamus Heaney in March. I never thought I’d meet a Nobel Prize Winner and have him actually like me!

Knowing that it’s not impossible to get your dream job as your first job if you really work hard on it - like what I did. I kept my faith burning and I’m more than happy with what I got back. ♥

The last time I felt truly happy was last Sunday when I saw HIM. Not only was the show wonderful I met a lovely guy in line that I spent the entire day with. I met a couple of the bands afterwards and it was just a great day :)

One summer I went to Great America every single day with my close friends, and their families, we would make little games about who could scream the loudest on the rides and who went on the most rides, etc. I remember it the most (:

Last time I truly felt happy was when two of my other friends went to visit my friend at her work. We ended up staying for four hours sitting and talking and reconnecting before graduation. We laughed and shared our secrets and it was great :)
