I am surrounded by these beautiful handmade rugs everyday and I am beginning to appreciate the art behind them. Take this silk and wool rug for example. A piece like this could take as much as six months to make by hand! Seriously!

The moment Shine and I stepped inside the gallery, the first thing we said was “Woah!” because everything was fucking gorgeous. I know Luis is my friend and all, but that dude is talented. Congrats, man!
Luis Santos’ Exposition will run until January 8, 2012 at the Manila Contemporary (Whitespace, Pasong Tamo Extension). I mean, seriously, you have see it.

Really sad I missed this and Carina’s show. :( Please post more pictures!
