I'm a super shy live music & travel photographer. I post snippets from my daily life and other mundane things. Out of all the crap I blab about, I think you can trust my opinion on music the most. Read more. Sometimes, I blog with a few more words here.
This gallery sells original prints and paintings by Marc Chagall, my favorite painter. (They also have works by Erte and Andy Warhol.) The curator showed me a few prints that go for $3,500+. “You can own a Chagall with just that,” he said. “But I could arrange an original painting for $800,000 for you if you want.” Umm, maybe in another life, mister. But I appreciate it.
Sometimes rain that’s needed falls We float like two lovers in a painting by Chagall All around is sky and blue town Holding these flowers for a wedding gown We live so high above the ground, satellites surround us.
I am humbled in this city There seems to be an endless sea of people like us Wakeful dreamers, I pass them on the sunlit streets In our rooms filled with laughter We make hope from every small disaster
