An early Christmas present for myself! I found “All The Way From Michigan Not Mars" by Rosie Thomas, Sufjan Stevens and Denison Witmer Limited Edition LP/DVD last night at Amoeba Music in Hollywood.
I miss this band! We only recorded 2 songs @ the MoshRoom. :(
Vocals : Zet Diaz
Guitars : Me and Ramir Del Rosario
Bass: Rob Ramos
Drums : Fritz Bosshard
HAHA! This is our band called “Photobooth”. It’s our first song EVER, “Awkward Silence”. Hahaha. I wrote it too, btw. Recorded at my band mate’s home studio.
And we shouldn’t credit Fritz for the drums in this particular recording because Adi used digital drums. Hahaha.
Oh my~ I miss you guys :(
yesssss!! yes I know them! I love that song though :D and the rest of the album as well, it’s all ‘spring-mood’ and stuff haha
Awesome! I only know that one song, so I think I’m gonna check out the rest of their stuff now. :)
All I ever do is wait and stare | a mix
I got bored so I made a mix for you guys (but that’s not the only reason, okay). This is also to thank my followers for, well, following me here on Tumblr. Thank you! Now, have a listen.
This is a pretty weird mix, just to warn you. I haven’t made one of these since high school, I think. This is to accompany you for when you’re feeling quite forlorn, bored out of your mind, or just plain confused. Or maybe when you’re idle and you just feel like listening to a stranger’s mix. In any case, the songs are pretty chill. The mood will find you as you listen.
(I wish I could add more songs, but my internet is too slow that uploading would take forever. Actually, this mix took more than an hour to upload. And within that hour, I was able to come up with yet another mix which I will upload tomorrow. True story.)

"Pop music is so structured, and I’m excited to try and challenge that in my own work. Every time Jimmy Scott sings, it’s the same but slightly different. I don’t know how he does that or where he gets that from. I think it’s instinct. Nothing he does is by chance, he’s in complete control of what he’s doing. He’s just beautiful and unique."
- Sufjan Stevens on Jimmy Scott
“Love You More" by Alexi Murdoch
Love you more than anyone…
